John t. Coughlin history club

Mission Statement:
The John T. Coughlin History Club strives to promote the study of history on the Jersey City Campus of Saint Peter's College.
What We Do?
The History Club is actively involved on campus, promoting different talks and co-sponsoring events on campus. In the Fall 2005 Semester, the organization co-sponsored a talk by Chris Lowney, author of A Vanished World: Medieval Spain's Golden Age of Enlightenment, with the Campus Ministry Department of Saint Peter's College.
Currently, the History Club is working on an oral history project with members of the community. Upcoming events include a walking tour of NYC, a museum trip, and a Jeopardy! tournament.

Who Can Join?
Despite close ties with the History Department on the Jersey City campus, all members of the college community are invited and encouraged to attend club meetings and campus events.
Meetings:
Thursdays at noon, twice a month in Dinneen Hall 330.
Club Officers 2009-2010:
President: Peaches Dela Paz
Vice President: Michael Massey
Secretary: William Pettigrew
Treasurer: Thomas Cleary
Faculty Advisor: Dr. David Gerlach
Everyone is encouraged to attend History Club meetings and events. Please do not hesitate to contact an E-Board member with questions or concerns.
