Certificate Programs

Certificate programs are open to all students matriculating for a degree as well as to non-matriculating students. Four certificate programs are available: the Computer Programming, the Business Systems, Management Information Systems, and Web Page Development Certificate.

Students who have college degrees (Bachelor’s or Associate’s) may earn a certificate by taking 18 credits in computer science/information science courses in consultation with a departmental advisor.

For all others, all four certificates require 24 credits of Cs/Is/Ba courses. A further three courses (9 credits) outside the Cs/Is/Ba area should be taken unless the student can show similar courses already taken or life experience that show the student knows the material.
