Recreational Life Center and Intramural Sports
Saint Peter’s College students and members of the campus community make the Victor R. Yanitelli, S.J. Recreational Life Center one of the busiest buildings on campus.
Home of the College’s NCAA Division I athletic teams, the Recreational Life Center also houses a state-of-the-art fitness center, Olympic-sized swimming pool, free-weight room, racquetball, squash and three regulation basketball courts.
Managed by the Department of Recreation, the Recreational Life Center is home of the College’s thriving intramural program that draws hundreds of students, faculty members and administrators each semester.The department also runs numerous fitness, dance, swimming and sports programs and a full slate of special events.
The Department of Recreation also coordinates several trips each semester for students and members of the campus community interested in outdoor activities like skiing, horseback riding and white water rafting.
Along with these trips, the department also sponsors numerous corporate events where students are invited to compete against the best of other area and national colleges and universities.
