Health Services is a nurse-directed college health facility. A physician is available two days a week to examine, diagnose and treat students in cases of acute illness. The physician is also on call as needed for consultations. Health Services offers first aid, acute illness care, and routine health and nutrition assessments. Resource and education materials are available upon request. When appropriate, referrals are made to outside agencies. Lists of outside medical agencies/clinics are available to the students.

Health Services is responsible for instituting New Jersey State Immunization Laws governing the Measles, Mumps and Rubella inoculations and Meningitis requirements. Each newly enrolled student receives a Health Services Entrance Packet, which contains the immunization requirements and guidelines as well as a medical history and physical examination forms. This packet is mandatory and must be returned prior to the start of the Fall Semester. Download entrance health forms packet (PDF).

Each Fall Semester the Office of Health Services contracts with an outside agency to provide Influenza inoculations to the entire college community. Information is provided to the community with dates and times of availability.

The Office of Health Services makes available student health and accident insurance claim forms. Assistance with filing a claim is available at the office during daytime business hours.

Health Services is committed to protecting Personal Health Information (PHI) in accordance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) of 1996. The notice of privacy practices became effective April 14, 2003.
