Saint Peter's College admits qualified students regardless of race, color, creed or religion, sex, marital status, national origin, age, physical handicap, or other factors. The College does not discriminate on any basis in the administration of its educational policies and programs.

Applicants seeking admission to graduate study must hold bachelor's degrees from accredited American colleges or universities, or equivalent degrees from foreign colleges or universities. Students in the process of completing the bachelor's degrees may apply for admission, which will be contingent upon the successful completion of their bachelor's degrees.

Saint Peter's College offers Graduate Business, Graduate Criminal Justice, Graduate Education, and Graduate Nursing programs.

International Students

International students must submit application and required documents at least 2 months prior to the start of the term for which they wish to begin graduate study.  I-20's will only be issued to individuals who have been accepted as fully matriculated students.  Inernational students must submit all of the requirements listed on the program's admission requirement's page as well as the following:

  • TOEFL  - test of English as a foreign language;  in some programs evidence of english speaking courses or a letter from a professor attesting to the applicant's english proficiency may be accepted
  • course by course evaluation reporting a 4 year bachelor's degree. With the exception of the Nursing program evaluations are accepted from  World Education Services, Globe Language Services, Credentials Evaluation Service, Inc., International Consultants Inc., Educational Credentials Evaluators, Inc., and Foundation for International Services, Inc.  The Nursing program accepts evaluations from World Education Services only.

Applying for a Second Saint Peter's College Master's Degree 

Applicants who have earned a Master's Degree in Education from Saint Peter's College who wish to pursue a second Master's Degree in Education, will not receive a second diploma from Saint Peter's College.  A notation of the second concentration will be notated on the student's graduate transcript. Similarly, applicants who have earned a Master's Degree in Business from Saint Peter's College who wish to pursue a second Master's Degree in Business, will not receive a second diploma from Saint Peter's College.  A notation of the second concentration will be notated on the student's graduate transcript.



Graduate Assistantships

Graduate Assistantship positions are very limited and are not available at all times.

Qualifications:  A Student must be accepted into the graduate program as a matriculated student, be enrolled with a full time credit load, and apply and be selected as the candidate for the graduate assistantship. Full time load is 9 credits per semester or 6 credits per trimester. Applicants must submit an official Graduate Assistantship Application and be interviewed and chosen for the position.

Departments with Graduate Assistantships: Athletics, Career Services, Graduate Nursing at the Englewood Cliffs Campus, NCAA Enrichment, Residence Life and Student Activities.
