Master of Arts in Criminal Justice Administration
Saint Peter's College is proud to offer the Master of Arts in Criminal Justice Administration. This program prepares professionals to ethically lead a diverse workforce within service-oriented governmental and non-profit organizations. The program provides an education at the graduate level that assists students in acquiring an understanding of theoretical and practical concepts, attainment of expert knowledge of the field as well as superior management skills necessary for strategic decision-making and leadership. Key competencies include management, leadership, ethics, constitutional law, data analysis, and effective writing.
The mission of the Master of Arts in Criminal Justice Administration program is to develop professionals with specialty knowledge in police administration and federal law enforcement administration, emphasizing theory, practice, law and policy, as well as contemporary management skills who are able to lead organizations ethically and manage a diverse workforce in a multicultural, service-dominated governs.
The on-campus MA program offers a flexible class schedule on the trimester calendar. Classes are held once a week, Monday through Thursday on the Jersey City Campus.
Students may choose to specialize in either Police Administration or Federal Law Enforcement Agency Administration.
Taking Courses on the Jersey City Campus
Minutes from Manhattan and downtown Jersey City the main campus is readily accessible via public transportation. Parking lots are available to the College Community by permit.
We are a wireless campus, and our students are granted open-door access to more than 300 computers in 20 labs.
Membership to the Recreational Life Center is complimentary for our students. The Rec Center includes a state-of-the-art fitness center, Olympic-sized swimming pool, free-weight room, racquetball, squash and three regulation basketball courts.
The Edward and Theresa O'Toole Library contains more than 50,000 sq. ft. of space, housing approximately 260,000 volumes on four floors, as well as a café and multiple learning spaces.
