2008-2009 URAP PROJECTS

SUMMER WORKSHOPS Simon Activities during summer 2008 focused on training workshops, planning for the fall, and institutionalizing each partnership so that each project can continue, even after the funding period ends.

MONUMENTAL BAPTIST Monumental Baptist projects cover two areas: The first is research on the historical significance of their neighborhood. The second is in development after-school programs. The former will be used to empower community members through understanding their own history. The latter will promote greater success in school for church youth.
