LCCS AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM PARTICIPATION I & II
Professor Donal Malone and his students work with LCCS to learn more about parents perspectives on after-school programs. Using the results of past focus group interviews, the team created a more comprehensive questionnaire to send to all middle school parents.
NEW CITY KIDS AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM
Professor Jennifer Ayala and her independent study students develop a self assessment tool for New City Kids.
HEAVENLY TEMPLE/C.O.T. AFFORDABLE HOUSING PROJECT
Public Policy Director Fadiah Joseph and her Urban Fieldwork students work with Heavenly Temple and Community Outreach Team to create a documentary on the need for a Senior Citizen & Family Center in the Greenville section of Jersey City.
S.E.O.C. SCHOOL EVALUATION PROGRAM
Professor Joe McLaughlin and Professor David Surrey work with Contemporary Cities students and S.E.O.C. evaluate how well the Jersey City Public Schools were performing under the Abbot District initiative.
QUALITY OF LIFE IN JERSEY CITY II
Professor Enrique Delamonica and his Economics Statistics class works with Bergen Community United and Fairmount Housing to further the quality of life study by conducting a statistical analysis of the quality of life survey given in 2006-2007.
HUDSON COMMUNITY ENTERPRISES EMPLOYMENT PROJECT
Professor Donal Malone and the Sociology Senior Seminar students work with Hudson Community Enterprises to develop a list of manufacturing firms and jobs that would be accessible for individuals with disabilities.
