Does the idea of having to write your own sonnet send you into a tizzy? Are you still confusing the works of Hemingway and Hawthorne? Fear not! Amanda is here to save the day. She will point lost Romeo's in the right direction, while keeping Moby Dick at bay. Feel free to ask Amanda a question if you are ever stumped in class, that's what she's here for! For the year, Amanda will be assisting Dr. Abdoo in class.

Why I'm proud to be a Gem:

I am proud to be a GEM because I get to help freshmen with any concerns they have. I also get to meet new people and I am able to make a difference in their lives.

Best Advice for the Freshman Class:

Join clubs and get involved with school activities, but be able to manage your time with everything you do. Also, focus as much as you can on school work and strive hard to make it to where you want to be.
