Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning
Welcome to the Saint Peter’s College Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning!
The mission of the Center is to promote excellence in teaching and learning. The Center seeks to communicate and provide information to students, link students to resources for learning; to support and foster the development of faculty as teachers and scholars and to create a venue for dialogue and sharing among faculty. The Center is intended to serve undergraduate and graduate students as well as faculty members of all ranks and status.
The Center’s mission is consistent with the following goals of the College: to enable students to acquire the knowledge, skills and values needed for leadership in serving others and shaping society’s response to social, technological and environmental change; and, to advance education through improvements in teaching methods, instructional materials and curriculum design.
Be sure to check out evolving opportunities for the NYU Faculty Resource Network for programs, scholars-in-residence and speaker.
