Occupational Therapy
Six Year BA Sociology/MS Occupational Therapy
In an articulation agreement with Seton Hall University, students can earn a BA in Sociology and a Master's in Occupational Therapy in six years. Students study at Saint Peter's for three years and Seton Hall for three years.*

The Seton Hall Program in Occupational Therapy (OT) “promotes wellness through everyday activities (occupations). The profession helps people of all ages overcome challenges to participation in their daily lives by developing the “living skills” necessary for independence and satisfaction.” Included careers are:
· Customized treatment programs to improve one’s ability to perform daily activities
· Comprehensive home and job site evaluations with adaptation recommendations
· Performance skills assessments and treatment
· Adaptive equipment recommendations and usage training
· Guidance to family members and caregivers
To qualify for considereration for the program, students must maintain a 3.0 average, complete a 50 hour internship with an occupational therapist and, within three years complete the core including specified Biology and Psychology classes, and their Sociology major, Important note: scholarships from either institution will apply only to the courses offered by that institution; however, students in their fourth year at Seton Hall could still be eligible for TAG and PELL.
