Susan’s Story at SPC
Susan began her career at Saint Peter’s College, in September of 1979 as a full time Secretary II at the Englewood Cliffs Campus, her current position.
What SPC Loves About Susan
"Susan is an excellent employee. She is conscientious, friendly, and hard working."
"Susan works hard to find solutions to problems that students, faculty and staff face at Saint Peter’s College."
“I have been consistently impressed with Susan’s attitude towards her work and her performance on the job. Her ability to remain unflustered during crazy periods, like the first week of classes, proves invaluable at the Englewood Cliffs Campus."
What Susan Loves About SPC
After 29 years of service to Saint Peter's College, Susan has seen many positive changes to both campuses. She believes the changes happened because the employees of Saint Peter’s care deeply about the success of their students. “We see a problem and think, what do we need to do to fix it.” Susan especially loves the friendships she has formed with people at both Englewood Cliffs and Jersey City. “It is a joy to come to work each day knowing that I have an opportunity to make a difference in people’s lives.”
Susan After Hours
Susan and her husband, John, who reside in Old Tappan, are avid travelers who especially enjoy cruising the Caribbean and the Mediterranean. Thursday is “salsa and country line dancing night” with the girls. She loves spending fun time with their five children and 11 grandchildren and is happily awaiting their 12th grandchild, due in May. She loves the spring and summer seasons, where she spends time caring for her perennial garden.
Susan’s Wishes for SPC
Susan would love to see the expansion of the Englewood Cliffs Campus to accommodate their growing needs. She wishes continued growth and success for Saint Peter’s and is excited to see what the future has in store for the College.
