SPC AAUP Events

AAUP WORKSHOP, FEBRUARY 28, 2008 AT NOON
AAUP will host a workshop on Negotiating Salary Outside Collective Bargaining, on Strengthening to Faculty Role in Academic Governance and on Building an Active AAUP Chapter.  Guest speakers include Judith Johnston, NJ AAUP President and Professor of English at Rider University and Pat Shaw, National AAUP, Department of Organizing and Services.   The session will be held in McIntyre Lounge C. A light lunch will be served and a raffle will be held. Please RSVP to atrillo@spc.edu by February 25.

AAUP FACULTY AND ACADEMIC PROFESSIONALS SURVEY, FEBRUARY 2008
The Saint Peter’s College Chapter of AAUP will administer an annual survey to better understand and address the issues that are important to our faculty and academic professionals and to inform the upcoming HERI Survey.  In February and March all SPC faculty and academic professionals will receive an email with a link to an electronic questionnaire. Clicking on the link will take you to a webpage where you can fill out and submit your responses. Of course, your answers are completely confidential. Aggregate reports will be made available via email and the SPC intranet in a timely manner. Thank you, in advance, for your participation and please note that you may receive a few follow-up emails to ensure completion.
