Post-Graduate Volunteer Opportunities

Post-graduation volunteering can be found in many shapes and forms.  Whether it is in this country or across the globe, two years or a few months, faith-based or secular--students interested in full-time volunteering have numerous options to consider.

Listed below are just a few of the many domestic and international programs out there.  Regardless of the program and placement, these opportunities will allow graduates to broaden their knowledge of the world and recognize their role in working for social justice.

It is important to note that while volunteering may keep graduated students out of the "work force," many placements require volunteers to work in professional settings, obtaining necessary skills and facing real-world challenges.  Additionally, not only do many volunteer agencies provide free room and board and a monthly stipend, but some may also help with college costs and student loans.

There are a lot of questions that arise in this discernment process, so we encourage all interested students to contact the Office of Campus Ministry and schedule a time to talk about the options.
