Advice to Parents
Remember that selecting and choosing a college is a rite of passage for your child—possibly the biggest choice they have made in their lives so far! They are lucky to have your support and input in their college search process. Help them by checking in—asking questions regarding their search and how you can best assist them. Make sure that your child is responsible for all aspects of their search, from scheduling visits to submitting applications, all while knowing that they have your support.

Advice to Students
The college search process may feel overwhelming right now! It’s understandable—there are so many options and variables to consider as you navigate your search. Sifting through mail, web sites and guide books becomes easier when you have a sense for what factors are important to you. Visiting campuses early in the process can help in making choices about programs, size and location that you’re seeking—you might just find the school that ‘feels’ right to you in the process.
