- If necessary, help start the fire of college searching. It’s very important to start early, especially today.
- Communicate with your student. There will undoubtedly come a time to COMPROMISE and discuss college choice options.
Advice to Students
- Ask questions.
- DON’T let money scare you away from attending college.
- Visit the campus to get that gut feeling.
- Interview whenever possible! It’s a great way to tell your story and show who you are.
- Stay focused and be on time with paperwork. Not doing so will only hurt you.
- Listen to your parents. They know a lot and you can only benefit from listening to their experiences and knowledge.
