NEW YORK, NY - Former Saint Peter's College baseball player Andrew Martirano has been selected to the 2009 New York State League All-Star Team.

The Yonkers, NY native spent this summer as a member of the Capitols, and was selected to this year's all-star team as the league's best Third Baseman. The NYSL is a developmental baseball league for players who no longer have collegiate eligibility, and serves as a venue for talented undrafted recent college graduates to have an opportunity to be observed by representatives of professional baseball teams.
