SPARTANBURG, SC (Saturday, March 6)- The Saint Peter's College Peacocks (0-7) fell to the Gardner Webb Bulldogs on Saturday afternoon, 14-2. Freshman Chris Grimes went 2-3 with an RBI in his first ever game as a Peacock.

Gardner Webb scored five runs in the bottom of the first and also added on five in the fourth. The Bulldogs added four more runs before Saint Peter's would touch home plate. The Peacocks would score two unearned runs in the eighth.

The Saint Peter's College Peacocks will play the Wofford Terriers tomorrow starting at noon.
