JERSEY CITY, NJ (November 1, 2007) - The Saint Peter's College Peahens lost their home finale this afternoon, 3-1 to the Manhattan College Jaspers. Manhattan jumped out to a 2-0 lead with goals at 17:25 and 19:09. The Peahens responded with a goal of their own as Kyle Marsh took a brilliant pass from Renee Morin and beat the goalie one-on-one to cut the deficit in half at 29:35. The game remained tight late into the second half, when Manhattan scored an insurance goal to make the final 3-1. The Peahens will end their regular season on Sunday night as they travel to play NJIT at 5pm in Newark.
