Michael Chokas

Michael's Story at SPC
Michael was hired in July of 1979 as a part time Locker Room Attendant in the RLC. In May of 1992 he moved into a full time position as General Custodian in the Maintenance Department, the position he currently holds.

What Michael Loves about SPC
Michael really enjoys his co-workers. Also, the College is located so close to his home he can walk to work. He comes in on weekends when there are special events to ensure that the campus looks good.
What SPC Loves about Michael
Michael is a very reliable and conscientious employee. No matter what the weather is like you will always see Michael either shoveling snow or keeping the grounds of the campus free and clean.
Michael’s dedication to Saint Peter’s is outstanding. He takes pride in his duties and cares about his job performance. He demonstrates excellent work ethics with a great commitment to the College.
Michael is very dedicated to SPC. His commitment is amazing and he always has a smile on his face.
Michael is a wonderful person. No matter when you call him he is always ready, willing and able to come help. He is well liked and has a great sense of humor.
Michael After Hours
Michael was born and raised in Jersey City where he still lives with his mother, father and twin brother. He likes to maintain the grounds of his home in the same manner he maintains the campus. He loves to watch wrestling on TV. He is committed to his family as he is to his SPC family.
Michael's Wishes
Michael wishes that the College continues to grow and do well. He is honored to be the recipient of this award. He is a man of few words but he chooses them well!
