The Saint Peter's College Alumni Association cordially invites all 2008 graduates and a guest to the John J. Delaney ’50 Alumni Reception. The Delaney Reception is the first opportunity for the Saint Peter's College Alumni Association to welcome the Class of 2008 as its newest members. We hope this event will serve as a starting point for every member of the graduating class to remain an integral part of the College.

A lovely sit-down dinner will be served. Business casual attire for this event is preferred. Formal invitations to the event will be mailed to all graduation candidates in April. The Casino in the Park has ample parking and a shuttle will be available from campus to the facility for individuals who request it when they return the invitation reply card.

Two members of the graduating class and a member of the faculty are recognized at this event each year by the Alumni Association. The awards are as follows:

• The James J. Damiano ’53 Award is named after a dedicated member of the Alumni Board from the Class of 1953. The award is presented to two members of the graduating class, representing the day and evening sessions, who have demonstrated leadership and scholarship, and have been active during their time at Saint Peter's College.
• The George F. Johnson, S.J. Faculty Award, named in honor of the legendary Jesuit who served at the College, is presented to a member of the faculty whose excellence in teaching results in successfully leading students to greater knowledge and understanding of their subject matter.
