Pool Tournament Rules & Regulations

1. Tournament will be single elimination format. Each match will be best two out of three.
2. To begin the match, there will be a coin toss to see who breaks. From that point on, the winner will break.
3. If you hit the eight ball in on a break, you automatically win.
4. If you scratch on a break, your opponent gets the ball and gets choice of solids or stripes.
5. You must hit your own ball first. You cannot combo off your opponent’s ball.
6. You must call the pocket. (i.e. If you are shooting the seven ball into the corner pocket, and you happen to miss but the seven ball ends up going into the side pocket, then you lose your turn.)
7. You must call the pocket on the eight ball.
8. If you hit the eight ball into a pocket you did not call, then you lose the game.
9. If you scratch while shooting at the eight ball, you automatically lose.
10. You have to shoot from behind the break line (dot) on a scratch.
11. There are no ball in hands.
