Student Government Association

The SGA at their fall 2011 community service event.
The objectives of this organization are to represent the needs of the day students of Saint Peter's College to the administration, to facilitate the activities of the various student organizations on campus, and to promote both the social and academic needs of the students at Saint Peter's College.
"The Student Government Association is established to provide the students of Saint Peter's College a unified voice in all matters pertaining to the general interest of the student body." Article II, Section 6, SGA Constitution.
The organization is composed of twenty-five (25) members, consisting of twenty (20) Senators, five (5) from each of the four (4) class years, Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, and Senior, and the five (5) Executive Board members. The faculty advisor is Dean Tharp.
Each Senator shall be loyal to his/her class and shall be responsible for acting in ways beneficial to it. S/he will assist with the planning and execution of all Senate activities. All Senators sit on at least two Student, Faculty, or Administrative committees. Senators have full voting privileges in the Senate.

All meetings are held in the Degnan Conference Room at 6:15 pm. Meetings are open to the entire student population, but only members of the Senate have voting privileges. For more information contact V.P. Miller. The meeting schedule for the year 2012 Spring Semester is as follows:

- On January 27 from 3 to 7 PM there will be and ice skating rink and snow tube slide in the quad! Free for all SPC students just brng your SPC ID! Ice skates will be provided or you can bring your own!
