Info abour speaker: Regional Vice President of Sales and Operations for Staples, oversees the New York Region for Staples. The territory covers the five Boroughs, Nassau, Suffolk, Westchester Counties and the stores in the Hudson Valley Region. Prior to Staples, Mr. Downes was Vice President / Regional Manager of Bradlees Discount Department stores for 17 years overseeing the states of New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Virginia.

With the collaboration of the Office of Alumni Relations, REC Center and Athletics, about 100 alumni, members of the Saint Peter's College community, staff and friends gathered for a fun-filled day of events and activities.

Info about speaker: Steven R. Ricchiuto was Chief U.S. Economist of ABN AMRO and was also the North American Head of FM Research. He was responsible for formulating the firm's macroeconomic and interest rate forecasts. In addition, he was an integral member of ABN AMRO's worldwide research network, which provides coverage of all major financial markets. Mr. Ricchiuto published The Rate Reference Guide to the U.S. Treasury Market: 1984-1995 (Irwin, 1996), as well as numerous other articles.
Prior to joining ABN AMRO, Mr. Ricchiuto was Chief Economist at Dean Witter, Chief Financial Economist at BZW and Senior Vice President and Money Market Economist at Kidder Peabody.

Info about speaker: Carmel Galasso, has a Masters in Adult Christian Community Development from Regis University in Colorado and an undergraduate degree from St. Peter's College in New Jersey. She taught at St. Aedan's grammar school, was Assistant Director of Campus Ministry at St.Peter's College, Director for Catholic Charities of the Archdioceses of Newark Parish Acecess Center and is presently Director of Housing Services for the homeless at the United Way of Hudson County.

Info about President's Reception: This year James N. Loughran, S.J., Saint Peter's College President, hosted the annual President's Reception at the Jersey City Campus in conjunction with a Blessing of the renovated Quadrangle. The President's Reception is held every year as a way to thank the College's most loyal donors, the President's Council. This year over 200 President's Council members had the opportunity to see the good of their contributions in person through capital improvements to the Jersey City campus and meet many of the students that benefit directly from their generosity.

Rotundo, a member of the SPC Board of Regents, graduated from St. Peter's College with Accounting degree and completed his Master's in Taxation from Pace University.

Dolan, M.D.'44 – Service to Community; Thomas D. Carver, Esq.'58 – Loyalty to Alma Mater; and Robert L. Marcalus'96 (Hon.) – Honorary Alumnus.
