- American Journal of Bioethics With current news, links to journal articles, bibliographies, Internet links, and a Bioethics for Beginners section, this site from the Center for Bioethics at the University of Pennsylvania is a good starting place for research on issues such as cloning, abortion, assisted suicide, research, and other ethical topics in science and medicine.
- ASBH (American Society for Bioethics and Humanities Established in January, 1998. Provides links to academic centers and programs,history of medicine, government and public policy, law, medical humanities and other resources.
- Bioethics Resources on the Web Access to net-based bioethics resources in many categories. Developed by the National Institutes of Health.
- Biomedical & Health Care Ethics Resources on WWW from the Center for Applied Ethics at the University of British Columbia.
- Health Hippo from Findlaw, is a major resource for health-related laws and policy. Each of their subdivisions contains federal regulation from the US Code and CFR, current legislation and testimony, news and reports, and links to other sites. For information on the law and ethics of assisted suicide, look under their "Advanced Directives" heading.
- Declaration of Helsinki Recommendations Guiding Doctors in Clinical ResearchRecommendations guiding physicians in biomedical research involving human subjects.
- Scirus A search engine that searches only screened educational and scientific sites and journal articles in Elsevier Science journals. Links will take you to the site or to the article in Science Direct.
- President's Council On Bioeithics Topics of concern for the council that advise the President on bioethical issues that may emerge in biomedical science and technology in the United States. Provides transcripts of council's meetings.
