- Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities Data on all 28 member institutions.
- Baccalaureate Origins of Doctoral Recipients This 8th edition (1998) from Franklin and Marshall College ranks colleges and universities on their graduates' Ph.D. completions. Data is from 1920 to 1998 and is presented both in total and by discipline.

- CollegeSource Online provides access to basic data on US and international colleges and universities. Access to PDF images of college catalogs are available only at the Database Workstations in the O'Toole Library.
- Consortium for Policy Research in Education (CPRE) Research publications on elementary and secondary education include profiles for each of the 50 states on Assessment and Accountability Systems, case studies on elementary school programs,featuring three New Jersey schools, research reports, and journal articles.

- HEARTH: the Home Economics Archive "HEARTH is a core electronic collection of books and journals in Home Economics and related disciplines. Titles published between 1850 and 1950 were selected and ranked by teams of scholars for their great historical importance" -- This site covers home economics and is also very good for historical material on early childhood and other areas.

- IIE Passport: Home Page From the Institute of International Education. Publishers of Academic Year Abroad and Vacation Study Abroad, provide detailed searching of study abroad courses.
- INFOMINE: Scholarly Internet Resource Collections " INFOMINE is a virtual library of Internet resources relevant to faculty, students, and research staff at the university level. It contains useful Internet resources such as databases, electronic journals, electronic books, bulletin boards, mailing lists, online library card catalogs, articles, directories of researchers, and many other types of information."
- International Children's Digital Library This site will eventually contain over 10,000 children's books drawn from 100 cultures. Each book is presented in full-text with full color image. It requires Java and special software (6.2Mb) that can be downloaded from the site, along with a high-speed connection. The project was developed by the Internet Archive and the University of Maryland and sponsored by federal Institute of Museum and Library Services in partnership with other academic and government agencies.
- International Clearinghouse on Curriculum for HIV/AIDS Education "directed primarily at professionals working in the area of curriculum design, implementation and evaluation for the prevention and mitigation of HIV/AIDS at national, regional and international levels. Other education specialists, especially teachers and researchers, will however also find information relevant to their practice."

- National Institute for Urban School Improvement A database of abstracts of book and journal articles, video, program descriptions and other resources in urban education.

- NCBE ERIC/CLL Online Directory of ESL Resources "The National Clearinghouse for Bilingual Education and the ERIC Clearinghouse on Languages and Linguistics, with funding from the U.S. Department of Education, Office of Bilingual Education and Minority Languages Affairs (OBEMLA) and Office of Educational Research and Improvement (OERI), have created this online directory of ESL resources."

This site features 100 best sites for kids and reviews of other sites and search engines suitable for children.
- New Dictionary of Cultural Literacy 3rd ed., by E. D. Hirsch, Jr., Joseph F. Kett, James Trefil, this work is based on an assumption that certain concepts, words, and works should be a part of every American's cultural knowledge. Exactly what should be included in this conception of literacy is controversial, but the dictionary can be a useful reference if you want to test your knowledge of important pieces of Western culture. There are 6,900 entries divided into 23 topical sections (e.g., The Bible Mythology and Folklore, Proverbs, Idioms World Literature, Philosophy, and Religion Literature in English, History, Politics, business, Sciences and Mathematics, Medicine and Health). - Web English Teacher Designed for those teaching English, either as literature or a language, this site is also useful for literature students. Under "Literature (Prose)" for example, you will find biographies of authors and selected essays, such as Amy Tan's essay "Mother Tongue", on her experience growing up in a house in which English was not the native language.
