About the Committee

The Safety Committee is responsible for addressing issues that relate to the safety and health of faculty, staff, students and visitors of the College.   With this in mind the Committee has developed a reporting process for members of the community to advise it of risks that exist on campus. The committee encourages you to report unsafe conditions that you observe. These may include health and safety risks (such as trip and fall hazards), fire safety issues (such as faulty wiring or equipment or tampering with fire safety equipment), security issues (such as doors propped open), and environmental concerns (such as improper disposal of chemicals).

REPORT A SAFETY CONCERN

The form below has been created for the purpose of making such reports. This form is not to be used to report emergencies, crimes, or other incidents that would ordinarily be reported to the Office of Campus Safety. But if you have observed a non-emergency condition that you think may create a health or safety risk for you or another person, please report that condition by submitting this form to our Committee.

It is the responsibility of the College and the College Community to ensure that our educational programs and other activities protect and promote the health and safety of our faculty, staff, students, visitors and the environment. Responsible use of the form will benefit the entire community in this endeavor.

Do NOT use this form to report an emergency.
In the event of an emergency, contact Security at 201-915-9138.
You may remain anonymous if you wish.

Contact information is not required.  However, without contact information the Committee will be unable to contact you regarding the resolution of the issue you are reporting.
