SPC Honda Fit Marketing Team in the QuadranglePicture yourself, marketing products to other countries, creating your own business online or developing an entire marketing campaign for the launch of a new car for Honda. These are listing only some of the opportunities that Saint Peter’s Business Administration program has given me. I have been attending Saint Peter’s College for four years and feel that I have grown into the person I am today because of my experiences at the College. I have taken courses such as Consumer behavior, Business Ethics, Marketing Research, E-Business, Strategic Marketing, International Marketing and Business Seminar. In each of these classes I was pushed to show my true potential.

One huge learning experience for me is that I was chosen by my peers to be the coordinator of a project for our Business Seminar class - the Honda Fit Challenge. This real-life-experience-project was about launching Honda’s new car – the Honda Fit in Jersey City. For this project we had a budget (real money) to manage, department heads watch over, deadlines to meet, reports to submit, events to hold and presentations to make. Four years ago I didn’t have the nerve to speak in front of a class, but now through all of these experiences, I am able to make presentations for representatives of Honda. I can now write my own business plans and campaign briefs, conduct primary and secondary research and make persuasive presentations.

The Business Administration program is not only great because of the courses and experiences it offers, but what makes it the best are the professors. I have had such wonderful experiences with professors who make you excited about what they are teaching. The professors make you not want to miss one word they say and they make you feel like you can truly do anything you set your mind to, even being a millionaire! Most of all, the professors really do care about their students. I had no idea what I wanted to even study in college until I took my first marketing course to see what it would be like and I was captured. The passion the professors bring to their courses inspired me onto the path I am on now and I am so grateful to have had the pleasure of being taught by such dynamic, wonderful and caring professors. Saint Peter’s may not be the largest school, but I feel it has the most to offer in its business administration program.
