Mischa Pintchiouk
My name is Mischa and I am an exchange student from Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Since January 2006 I have the great honor to study at Saint Peter’s College (SPC).
From the many study abroad options I had, I chose the US because of this country’s amazing diversity, its beauty and because I believe it is the business centre of the world. Choosing SPC was not difficult: it is a small college so it is very personal, it has a strong and broad business program and it is very close to New York City.
Now that I am studying here I can only emphasize that SPC has exceeded my expectations. I am very happy that I decided to leave my safe harbor (Amsterdam) and chose SPC. This college has a challenging and personal atmosphere with a focus on fundamental values of life. Being a student at SPC I am expanding my horizon every day.
My major is Business Administration and this college offers great opportunities to improve many skills: in class and outside of class. The professors create a very inspiring academic environment and are very motivating. Not only do they teach their course very well and involve every student, but because they all have substantial experience in Business they provide real life examples to every theory. Another great characteristic of the Department of Business Administration is the possibility to do a professional internship in the New York Metropolitan area.
To summarize my experience: I am enjoying every single second at SPC and I am having the time of my life.
