RN to MSN Bridge Program
The RN to MSN Bridge Program is designed for registered nurses who possess a bachelor's degree in a field other than nursing.

Nu 470 Dimensions of Professional Nursing
The emphasis is on the professional role of nursing with a focus on leadership and community health practice. The concepts of professionalism, nursing process and pluralism are explored. Leadership theory and the health care system are analyzed. Community health nursing is examined and the principles of health promotion and client education are integrated into the conduction of a community project.
Upon successful completion of the above courses and acceptance into the MSN Program, students may begin to graduate study in the Summer Session I term.
Admission Requirements
- A bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university
- RN diploma or associate degree from an NLNAC accredited institution or its equivalent
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on prior undergraduate course work
- Official transcripts from all previous undergraduate and graduate institutions attended
- Evidence of college credit or validation through testing for the following courses: Anatomy & Physiology I and II (Excelsior Examination) and Microbiology (NLN Examination)
In addition, completion of graduate application for admission is required and all policies, requirements and procedures for admission into the MSN program apply.
