Saint Peter’s College, a Catholic, Jesuit Institution, is located in Jersey City, New Jersey. It has an Undergraduate enrollment of approximately 2,100 full-time students, 300 part-time students, and a Graduate enrollment of over 700 students. Saint Peter’s College invites applicants for the following positions, beginning in the fall of 2012, pending budget approval. 
 
Tenure-track
 
Assistant Professor of Business Administration
This full-time, tenure-track appointment in the Department of Business Administration requires teaching both introductory and upper-level graduate and undergraduate courses. Candidates should have a Ph.D. or DBA in management or a related business area or be near completion of such a degree.  Teaching experience is required, and experience with issues related to sustainability is preferred. 
 
Assistant Professor of Physics
This full-time, tenure-track appointment in the Department of Applied Science and Technology requires an earned Ph.D. in Physics to teach both non-major and major courses in physics and to join our Center for Microplasma Science and Technology, established through funding from the Air Force Office of Scientific Research. Preference will be given to individuals with experience in atmospheric pressure non-thermal plasmas, biophysics or materials science. The successful applicant must show evidence of effective teaching and research and will be expected to develop a research program at the College geared towards undergraduate students. 
 
Assistant Professor of Education, School Counseling Specialization
This full-time tenure-track appointment in the School of Education requires a Ph.D. or Ed.D. in Education or a field related to School Counseling. Responsibilities include teaching and advising in the Master’s concentration in School Counseling. Experience in the field of School Counseling required.
 
Non-tenure track
 
KPMG Endowed Professorship in Accountancy
Consistent with the position of prominence that KPMG occupies as one of the leading providers of assurance, tax, and financial advisory services, the KPMG Endowed Professor will participate in both the undergraduate (B.S. in accountancy) and graduate (M.S. in Accountancy and MBA) programs to: promote the recognition of the College and its Business Programs, assist with long range planning, participate in program development, and maintain specialty accreditations. This is a full-time, non-tenure track appointment with teaching responsibilities at the graduate and/or undergraduate levels. A doctorate in accounting or a doctorate in management is preferred, and a CPA certificate is required. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in major public accounting firms and active engagement in NJ accounting societies.
