Meet the Staff

Enzo Fonzo
 

Enzo Fonzo, Director 

Enzo Fonzo has served as Director, Office of Career Services since September 1999. He had previously served as Associate Director of The Career Development Center at Saint Peter's since May 1989. Prior to coming to Saint Peter's, he worked at Seton Hall University in the Office of University Affairs and the President's Office. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from Seton Hall University. Fonzo also studied for one year at The American University in Washington, DC as a John Fletcher Hurst Fellow in Sociology.
Along with his work in the Office of Career Services, Fonzo is an adjunct lecturer in Sociology at Saint Peter's. He is Minister of Music at Saint Anthony of Padua Parish, Paterson and has served Church communities for more than 30 years.

Enzo is a member of the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE), New Jersey Association of Colleges and Employers (NJACE), Metropolitan New York City Career Placement Officers Association (MNYCPOA) and the Middle Atlantic Career Counseling Association (MACCA). He also serves as advisor for the Saint Peter's College Circle K Club.

Meghan McMenamy

JANICE HURLEY, RECRUITMENT COORDINATOR

Janice joined the Career Services team as Recruitment Coordinator in January 2012.  Janice previously worked at Holy Family Academy for past ten years as the Assistant to the Guidance Director.  At Holy Family, she thoroughly enjoyed interacting with the students, specifically the seniors, as she guided and encouraged them through the college application process and ultimately into the college of their dreams. Prior to working at HFA, Janice worked in New York City as an Administrative Assistant for various large brokerage firms and eventually for General Electric and Company. The combination and experience of working in both the corporate world and in education field allows Janice to have a better understanding of the needs of today’s workforce and guiding students in their career paths. Outside of her work, Janice’s other passions in life are being a mom, spending time at home cooking and baking and travelling around the country to visit her family. She is a parishioner of Saint Andrew’s Church in Bayonne and enjoys helping people.

Meghan McMenamy

Meghan McMenamy, Interim Recruitment Coordinator

Meghan McMenamy joined the Career Services team as Interim Recruitment Coordinator in November 2011. She previously worked at Saint Peters College as Assistant to the Vice President for Student Affairs from 2005-2010. She is also a Saint Peters College alumna, having earned her MBA in 2008. She has also earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Dartmouth College. Meghan has recently completed a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. She enjoys being back at Saint Peters College and working with the SPC students, faculty, and administrators again.

Amanda Rotundo

Amanda Rotundo '10, Graduate Assistant

Amanda Rotundo, Class of 2010,  joined the Office of Career Services as a Graduate Assistant in Fall 2010. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting with a concentration in Business Law and International Business. During her undergraduate career, Amanda participated in extracurricular activities such as serving as President of Delta Sigma Pi, the international business fraternity (Zeta Eta Chapter), and the Student Senate. She is currently serving as an intern at Deloitte Tax, New York City, while completing her Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources and Master of Science in Accountancy. In her free time, Amanda enjoys traveling to Europe (Italy, Spain and Portugal) as well as the Caribbean, spending quality time with family, and cooking.

Christina Cardenas '11, Work-Study Assistant

Christina joined the Office of Career Services as a work-study- office assistant in September 2007. She is pursuing a major in Accountancy and a minor in Business Law. Christina hopes to become a certified public accountant (CPA) in the future and continue her education as well. Christina supports the office by updating the job books, updating the office filing system, responding to student questions, and assisting the Recruitment Coordinator and Enzo Fonzo, Director with special projects such as on-campus recruitment and Career Fair preparation. Christina enjoys helping others and assisting students reach their potential. Christina has been active in various student organizations which to name a few which include, the Latin American Service Organization (LASO), The Business Law Association, AESNJ (freshman year), and was also a member of the SPC cheerleading team in her freshman year. Christina is grateful for everyone in the Office of Career Services as well as the Cooperative Education and Internship Office for giving her the opportunity to learn, grow, and make informed and wise decisions when it comes to her Jesuit education and her future career path.

Leah Alcid '12, Career Services Intern

Leah Alcid, Class of 2012, is a Psychology Major at Saint Peter's College.?She worked with Dr. Leonor Lega, Professor of Psychology, on a cross-cultural research article during the 2010-2011 school year, which was accepted for publication in a journal entitled "Synergy" for their July 2011 issue. Leah is the first Psychology Major accepted to serve as an intern in the Career Services Office where she assists the Director and Recruitment Coordinator in providing office support,  promoting company information sessions, office and student programs, and the Annual Career Fair. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, reading psychological thrillers, and doing cross-cultural research.

Grecia Taveras, Work Study Office Assistant

Grecia Taveras joined the office of Career Services as a work study office assistant in July 2011. She is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice. Grecia hopes to become a Juvenile Probation Officer continue her education within the Saint Peters College Graduate Program. Grecia supports the office by filing student registration and resume forms, answering phone calls and taking messages, and assisting with Annual Career Fair. Grecia enjoys her time at Saint Peters College by attending the Mens and Womens Basketball games, participating in different school activities, and working closely with the Criminal Justice department to be on track to pursue her career dreams. When not in school, Grecia spends her time with her friends and family, especially her two sons Joseph and Sebastian.
