Meet the Staff
|
Enzo Fonzo, Director
Enzo Fonzo has served as Director, Office of Career Services since September 1999. He had previously served as Associate Director of The Career Development Center at Saint Peter's since May 1989. Prior to coming to Saint Peter's, he worked at Seton Hall University in the Office of University Affairs and the President's Office. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from Seton Hall University. Fonzo also studied for one year at The American University in Washington, DC as a John Fletcher Hurst Fellow in Sociology.
Along with his work in the Office of Career Services, Fonzo is an adjunct lecturer in Sociology at Saint Peter's. He is Minister of Music at Saint Anthony of Padua Parish, Paterson and has served Church communities for more than 30 years.
Enzo is a member of the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE), New Jersey Association of Colleges and Employers (NJACE), Metropolitan New York City Career Placement Officers Association (MNYCPOA) and the Middle Atlantic Career Counseling Association (MACCA). He also serves as advisor for the Saint Peter's College Circle K Club.

Evelyn Herbert, Recruitment Coordinator
Evelyn Herbert has worked in the Office of Career Services Office since 1987. She currently serves as Recruitment Coordinator with responsibilities for organizing on-campus recruiting, employer relations, supervising our office assistants, Career Fairs, and all position listings.
Active on campus outside of the office, Evelyn serves on the Saint Peter's College Personnel Welfare and Safety Committees. She also served on the Campus Food Service Selection Committee. She often speaks at Freshman Orientation and Open Houses to the students and their parents. She is the proud mother of three Saint Peter’s College Alumni/ae.
Evelyn serves as lector for many campus liturgies. She is an active member of the Parish Community of Saint Vincent de Paul Church in Bayonne, New Jersey and also serves as lector for their weekend liturgies.

Justina Kauffman, Graduate Assistant
Justina L. Kauffman joined the Office of Career Services as Graduate Assistant in Fall 2006. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Marketing Management at Saint Peter’s College. Before coming to Saint Peter’s College, she attended The University of Bridgeport, Connecticut. For three of her four undergraduate years she was a softball pitcher at the Division I and Division II levels. Through this experience, she has learned dedication, discipline, and leadership. As an undergraduate student, Justina was actively involved in the Community Service Office, Business School Club, MS Walks, Fight for Hungry Walks, and Intramural Sports.
Justina is completing her Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. Her career goal is to become a Marketing Professor and one day open her own business.

Christina Cardenas '11, Work-Study Assistant
Christina joined the Office of Career Services as a work-study assistant in September 2007. She is currently in her freshman year, pursuing a double major in Mathematics and French Literature. Christina supports the office by updating the job books, updating the office filing system, responding to student questions, and assisting Evelyn Herbert, Recruitment Coordinator and Enzo Fonzo, Director with special projects such as on-campus recruitment and Career Fair preparation. She is interested in helping others and making a difference in other peoples’ lives. Christina has a passion for Mathematics and the French language and wants to share it with others. On campus, Christina is involved in Argus Eyes Theatre Organization and the AESNJ- the Association of EOF Students in New Jersey. Her dream is to pursue a career in education as a teacher.

Paulina Hornik '09, Career Services Intern
Paulina is an Accounting and Business Management Major at Saint Peter's College, and is a graduate of Garfield High School, Garfield, New Jersey. Upon entering Saint Peter's College, Paulina was awarded an Athletic and Academic Scholarship. She joined the Office of Career Services in September 2005 as an office assistant. Presently, Paulina serves as Career Services Intern, assists with special projects and programs, and helps with the Annual Career Fair. She serves as Treasurer of the Circle K Club and is active in the Accounting Society. Paulina is a member of the Cross Country and Track Team at Saint Peter's College. She participates in many Campus Ministry service projects including the trip to Honduras in Spring 2006, where she worked with the poor and taught the children English. In her free time, Paulina enjoys movies and visiting NYC. Her career goal is to become a successful accountant.

Roseanne Moy, Work-Study Assistant
Roseanne joined the Office of Career Services as a work-study assistant in June 2006. She is currently in her junior year, pursuing a double major in Elementary Education and Fine Arts. Additionally, she is pursuing a minor in Spanish and Urban Studies, with the intention of earning a certificate in Intercultural Studies.
Roseanne is very active both on and off campus. Currently, she is the President of Circle K, which is an international service organization affiliated with Kiwanis International. Additionally, she is a student ambassador with the Pavo Society, and active in Student Educators Association, Asian American Student Union, Multi Cultural Club, and has been involved with Yearbook Committee. She has been named to Kappa Delta Pi- the National Education Honor Society, and the National Dean’s List. She has been serving as an American Reads tutor with the Parish of Resurrection in Jersey City since Fall 2004 and also is a Sunday school assistant at Redeemer Presbyterian Church in Montclair.
