Internships / P-T Jobs / Summer Jobs
A Program That Works
Since 1977, more than 4000 Saint Peter's College students have participated in the College's Cooperative Education Program which allows students to earn a salary and up to nine academic credits through supervised internship experiences as well as part-time and summer employment.
On-The-Job Training
Cooperative Education students get valuable professional experience related to their major field of study and/or career interests.
Experience That Pays
This year, the average salary for a Cooperative Education student will be about $13,000, with many earning quite a bit more. Some earn over $750/week.
Something For Everyone
Our students have worked in a variety of fields and no matter what your major, (or even if you haven't yet chosen a major), chances are good that you'll find something of interest in the co-op program.
Flexible Work Schedules
Cooperative Education students have the option to work full or part-time year round, during the summer months, or during alternating semesters. The choice is up to you.
More Than Resume Padding
Some co-op students stay on after graduation with their co-op employers in a full-time permanent position. Others find it much easier competing for jobs elsewhere and often begin with higher salaries because of their co-op experience.
A Competitive Edge
If you think you'd like to get a jump on the competition when you enter the job market, think hard about the Saint Peter's College Cooperative Education Program. It can work for you!
