Bc490 Biochemical Research Conferences and laboratory directed to the study of a particular research problem in biological chemistry. Area selected must coincide with faculty expertise. Prerequisites: Ch366; Bi300.
Bc492 Biological Chemistry The chemistry and metabolism of biological compounds, including proteins, carbohydrates, lipids and nucleic acids. Enzyme kinetics, bioenergetics and cellular organization. Expression and processing of biological information including replication of DNA, transciption, translation, regulation and recombinant DNA technology. Prerequiste: Bi240.
