meet the student activities Staff
Jan M. Reimer has served as the Director of Student Activities since 2000.

In this role she serves as the advisor to the Student Government Association, provides leadership training opportunities to students, collaborates with faculty and other College departments on a number of initiatives, and plans large-scale programming for our students. She is a life-long Jersey City resident and received her undergraduate and graduate degree from the College. Her favorite part of her job is working with students and empowering them through leadership training and other experiences that will help them achieve their personal and professional goals.
When not working, she spends her time with her husband and three young children. Hobbies include baking, crocheting, and scrapbooking; although most of her free time is spent on laundry, cleaning, and watching countless hours of Disney Channel and Nickelodeon. She’d rather be watching her favorite current TV show, Psych, or reading her favorite books: Anne of Green Gables by L.M. Montgomery, Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen, or the Harry Potter Series by J.K. Rowlings.
