The Mathematical Association of America is the leading professional society for academic mathematicians -- both faculty and students.

The American Mathematical Society concentrates on the work and publications of research mathematicians.

As its name suggests, the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics  represents the interests of mathematicians working in industry and academic mathematicians working in applied mathematics.

Statistics, which is closely related to mathematics, has its own organization: the  American Statistical Association.

The National Council of Teachers of Mathematics is the world's largest mathematics education organization, the "public voice of mathematics education."
