As a faculty, staff and/or family member you play an integral role in the life of the Saint Peter's College student. We aim to serve you as a resource by providing information to assist you during your interactions with students. On this page you will find facts about our office and the services offered.     Confidentiality 

    • Although we appreciate the concern that others have for the students, we are bound by law and professional ethics to protect the confidentiality of all communications. As a result, we are unable to discuss details of a student’s situation or even indicate whether the student is receiving services.  The only way we may communicate any information about a student's involvement with the center is through a signed release from that individual giving us permission to communicate information, or when a student is in imminent danger of harming themselves or others.

       

  • Making an Appointment

    • To make an appointment either call (201) 761-6420 or stop by our office.  An appointment will be scheduled with one of our staff members for an initial assessment.  We make every attempt to accommodate same day requests for services.  EmergenciesFor mental health emergencies, please call campus safety at (201) 761-7400, Suicide Prevention Lifeline 24/7 (800) 273- TALK (8255) or Jersey City Medical Center Mobil Crisis Unit (24/7) (201) 915-2210.
