Sigma Tau Delta

Sigma Tau Delta is the International English Honor Society. A member of the Association of College Honor Societies, it was founded in 1924 at Dakota Wesleyan University.
There are over 600 Chapters located in Europe, the Caribbean, and the United States. Saint Peter's College has had a Chapter of the Society since 1987.

Mary Ann McGuigan '72, Executive Developmental Editor at Bloomberg Press and author of books for young adults, addressed the inductees into Sigma Tau Delta.
McGuigan has written for newspapers and magazines and has published short stories for both children and adults. Her novel, Where You Belong, was a finalist for the National Book Award.
